I love the color red and have it through out my condo
Hi and welcome back to Amelia Rose Cottage, it has been all most two years since I have put a post on my blog. Looking forward to renewing old friendships and saying hi once again. I lost my husband Charlie two years ago to cancer and I am starting my life over one more time. I have moved 50 miles, bought a new condo and made new friends. I would like to share my new home with you, I love decorating with any thing vintage and also like the cottage look, the two together make up my new cottage condo look. I enjoy flee markets. Out Door Wednesday..in the good old summer time
Hi and welcome to Out Door Wednesday sponsored byhttp://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/. The pond now has ice on it so I though I would go back to the good old summer time and dream just a little. Charlie and I came home from Florida early because his cancer seems much worse, want to have the Cancer Center in our area of Ohio check things out. He will have many tests on Friday so please send prayers our way. Having this blog helps just a little, it gives me some thing to think about beside the big C. I will find a few more pictures for out door wednesday and thanks for stopping at Amelia Rose Cottage.

VINTAGE THURSDAY
Hi to all my blogging friends out there in blog land, so nice to be back after a much needed time of from every thing. Just kidding I have been busy felling at home in a wonderful villa in Florida. Charlie is getting his chemo while in the sunshine state and all is well.
I am going to join in with thehttp://coloradolady.blogspot.com/ to show you a few of my favorite vintage things. Above is a lamp that was given to me by a dear aunt. Not much light but many memories..Also an old oil lamp that was my Mothers, along with my Amelia Rose Picture.
Many vintage pictures and post cards that I have collected along the way. A old chair I found at a garage sale with a basket of roses, my favorite flower The memories lay with in each treasure that was given to me by a family member.
Be back soon, Love you guys........Sharon K

Happy New Year...........2011
Happy New Year to my family and friends........2011
From my computer to yours...........I wish every one a wonderful New Year filled with many blessings.
The year 2010 has been a busy year for us, in November 2009 we found out that Charlie had stage 4 lung cancer. It has been a long year of trips to the cancer center for chemo treatment and radiation
but he is doing well and in the midst of cancer he has been very positive, I do believe that is as important as the treatments. We are looking forward to a trip to Florida for two months, also having something to look forward to and plan for is a big help.
My prayers are
1 Finding a cure for cancer
2 Good health for all
3 May all your dreams and wishes come true in the New Year. Above is a picture of Charlie when he was a little guy........How cute he was. We have been blessed with 20 years of marriage and between both of us we have a lovely blended family. I thank God for all I have and looking forward to many blessings in the New Year........2011.
Love to all,
Sharon K

I wish you a Merry Christmas............
I would like to wish every one a wonderful Christmas filled with many blessings for the new year.
This picture reminds me so much of my Mother when she was a young lady. I had to take a double take to make sure it was not her. All that new my Mother would agree.
Above is the sofa where I sit and look at my Christmas tree.
A picture of Winston with a bear that my friend Marylin made for me,On the foot of the bear she wrote the date and called my bear....Amelia Rose
A picture of a tree decorated at one of our out door shopping areas in Toledo, It was a very cold day
A picture of a bulb on my Christmas tree.
And of course a picture of a beautiful red rose.
We will be on our way to Florida soon, I hope it warms up before we arrive.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
See you again in Florida
